Resetting cPanel hosting account password

As a server administrator you may need to reset password of a cPanel hosting account created on your dedicated server for doing this you should know present password for that particular hosting account. You can even change the password from WHM control panel using following steps :-
1. Login to WHM. http://<server ip address>:2086/
username: root
password: <root password of the server>
2. Home –> Account Information –> List Accounts
3. Click on “+” sign near the domain for which you want to change the cPanel password. now you can see an option for changing the password for required cpanel account thus you can amend the password easily.
